Pit Stop In The News - ATV Safety

There are many things that can be done to increase safety and avoid injury but here are the top three for new ATV Riders!

1. Use the Emergency Kill Switch  - This is a bungie cord that attaches to the ATV at the ignition and is worn / fastened around the wrist when a riders is riding or moving on an ATV! In the event that a rider falls off of a moving or turned over ATV this kills the engine!  

2.  Parental Supervision - This is extremely important! If your child "new rider" or "experienced rider" having supervision is one of the most important safety precautions that can be implemented! #safetyfirst #parentalsupervision 

3. Adjust the throttle - or "Governor" meaning this changes the speed of the ATV - This is extremely important for new and younger riders! It's an adjustment that is made to the throttle with a flat head screw driver to limiting the speed of the ATV.

* Always wear safety equipment  - Helmets  - Riding Boots, Etc.
